Dublin Show Part 3
April 19, 2006 dude, dublin...part 3our dublin show seems to have been damned from day one. the day after the show we started getting messages from people who had bought tickets that said the show was at midnight (we played at 9:30) and upon arrival at crawdaddy were greeted to a note saying… something, not really sure. basically, some people missed the show because the wrong set time was printed on the ticket. that sucks!
Giant Drag Sorry
We can’t begin to tell you how sorry we are about that, we had no idea that was going on. though some of you are under the impression that we did and were just being assholes and sending some not nice emails. if we knew anything about this we would’ve posted something to try to make people aware of it but seeing as how we don’t print the tickets and aren’t the promoters of the venue, it was out of our hands and, if you haven’t gathered it yet, not our fault. the promoter tried to spread the word of the change but i guess it was impossible to do for the people who had already purchased tickets. major bummer! thanks to all the people who magically showed up despite the confusion. we had a great time and will be back in july for that oxegen festival thing.
No new news
no other news to report, really. we are just having fun with our buds Foreign Born on what we are calling “the not a single day off on this whole tour” tour before we go back to america for the “8 weeks on the road with 4 days at home in the middle of it” tour. sweet.
Dublin show is back on
April 7, 2006 DUBLIN IS BACK ONok, i guess that last post WAS an april fools but i didn’t even know it! Dublin show has been rescheduled for April 16th (still at Crawdaddy.) i hope you can forgive us and still make it because we want to make it with you.
Still in the studio
we are in the studio still, recording b-sides before we leave for the uk on saturday. today is micah’s birthday! happy birthday micah! i know 40 is going to be the greatest year of your life. i remember when i was 40, good times.
